What is the KEA?

The Kona Executives Association is a group of top decision makers from a broad spectrum of Big Island businesses. Only one member, who is the business owner or an executive with responsibility for decisions in the purchase of supplies and services for their business, represents each business category.

The purpose of the K.E.A. is to promote our local businesses by exchanging business information, leads, and referrals - and to support and promote business expansion for the benefit of the member firms.

The Kona Executive Association is similar in operation to more than 70 associated executive organizations located in other major cities throughout the United States. The Kona Executives Association was organized in July 2000.

The KEA is one of the oldest and most comprehensive business networking organizations in Kailua-Kona. We meet every Tuesday morning for breakfast to learn about each other and share business information.

Officers govern our organization and our Board of Directors is elected from the membership. An Executive Secretary assists the officers and members with the ongoing business of running the association.
